Default Winter tires on 7,5+9*17 on tt?

Can i use my set of 7,5 and 9*17" porsche cup wheels with snow tires?
What tire size is recommended?

The manual says 7+8*17 with 205/50 and 225/45.
I dont know what tire size to use with the 7,5+9*17.

For the 996tt the winter tires are same wheel size as stock 993tt. 8+10*18.
They recommend 225/40 and 265/30.
Is that ok for the 993tt as well?
The perimeter of the 265 will be less than that of the 285 on same wheel - is that a problem?

Thx,

Stefan

PS: Still have to wait ~2 weeks for the muffler bypass, because the supplier is closed/in holiday.

Thank you! Had the 17" wheels on my 944s and it was 225/45 for front, so i was not sure with that.

Does anyone use those 18" winter wheels? Have never seen a 265 winter tire - must look awesome.
Just did a search for prices. The 18 inch winter set is more expensive than my 18" pirelli summer ones. Such is life.

BTW, do you us-guys also have the porsche-club pirelli special offer?
Paid 750 Euros for the 285/225 pirelli zero rosso set. That is so cheap.
