Default Turbo market

Since I got mine in Sept I really havent paid
much attention to the market in TT's lately.
I just did a search on Autotrader.com to
look for some fellow rennlisters
(LIKE NOTATROLL WHO DOESN"T HAVE ONE YET!)
and it looks as though the prices have gone up
in the 5 months since I looked. I need
to go to other places but thats what I have seen.
there are many in the 80's and more in the 70's
when i was in the market there were many in hte
70's and 60's. what happened!
I need to go to Dupont to see if that market is
up to.

They do seem to be asking more, but I don't see them selling for those prices. Buyers seem to be stuck in the 65-75 range. 55-60 is the good deal range, very few willing to sell for that. There is one here in Utah, only 15k miles, for $55k...but it has an interior that is wild. I'll go look for a pic.

Yea wild does not sell well. I just saw a gold one
with a gold and black interior on autotrader and
they were in the 80's. I might have bought it
that was my high school colors. But man that
was wild. If I was gonna buy one new today
I would spec it out thinking about resale value.
but thats just me, after having been in the market.

I'm still looking for the pictures...but, I will likely go take a look at it again this week. It was Black/Black, but the inside had everything trimmed in red leather (headliner, speakers, switches, gauges, WOW). Paint needed some TLC, but not unworkable.

I bought back in September. I still check on prices out of curiosity. Some of the cars I've seen at 80k have been on the market for a very long time. The better prices cars (70k) don't seem to stick around too long.

Funny you mention that. I drove my 993 to dealer for an alignment. He tried to get me into a 2000 996 (silver/black, 30kmiles) for the low low price of $52,000 when I told him I was 'considering' a certified 2000 black/black 12kmiles for $42,0000.
