Default control arm question

I had my mechanic look over the new purchase recently and he mentioned that the bushings on the control arms are torn and that you cant get just the bushings, you have to replace the whole control arm...is this true? I am also in the process of changing my username since it doesnt really apply anymore. Thanks.

or put in polygraphite maybe. If it's the front lower arm, the front one is oddly put in there-

I would NOT put monoballs in any street car,.....

AFAIK, there are no urethane or any other plastic bushings made for the 993's (and I'm glad this is the case). Too many frictional and squeaking issues.

New control arms are $ 432/each. For better handling, you may use the Carrera RS arms at
$ 632/each which have harder rubber bushings.
