i don't think luck has anything to do with it. if he gained 72 hp on the dyno, then he must have gained more at the crank. therefor, 375 divided by 75% is the correct formula to aproximate rwhp. of course i am asuming a healthy engine that was producing the rated 400 hp during the baseline run. simple is only best when it works.
