Know how to remove license plate mounting blocks?
I just received my set of bumper plugs and have removed the front license plate mounting bracket, but I am not sure how to remove the blocks that the bracket is screwed to. Any one have any tricks for doing this? I tried to twist them loose a bit, but they don't seem to want to come out.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's been a while since I removed mine, but If I recall..once you've removed the metal screw from the piece it is just a snap fit..It should just pull straight out.The screw that held the bracket acts as a wedge to keep it snug in the square hole.

Haha, here's to starting small. Here I am fiddling with bumper plugs and a normal day for Bob is doing a 60k mile service for one of the Rennlisters.

Ok, I have done it successfully without any ill effects(so far).
The holes are square, therefore do not turn the blocks as I had started to do, but i stopped as soon as I felt the resistance was "telling" me I'm doing the wrong thing. As Seljan had said the screw holding the bracket just spreads the mounting block tabs in the holes wider to wedge themselves securely in the holes. All I did was wiggle the blocks a little as I pulled straight out. No paint peeled off the edges and things look normal.
Thanks guys.
