Oil analysis report uneventful- a good thing
Just sharing oil report. Mobil V-twin. Said it was a little thin tho...strange for a thick oil. I guess looks good tho.

But ya gotta luv those phos and zinc numbers!
If I recall, you were getting 0W40 oil changes at the dealership, right? Maybe I'm confused with another Rennlister. Sorry. But, that would easily explain the the low end of the viscosity ranges. Those will bump up on you next V-Twin change and UOA.
Your copper and iron will start dropping too.

I had a chance to look at this closer today.
Your Alum and Iron are very good (low). Those won't drop much more (similiar drain interval and use). Your copper is high, and hopefully starts coming down. 7ppm would be better, 4 ppm would be ideal.
Your SUS 210 should really be in 100 all day long. And the cSt 100 should be 20. I'd expect you to start seeing those values in the future, as the dilution of the V-Twin starts nearing 100% with your next change.
Don't waste your money (about $15 each) on the TBN testing. You know the results will be stout, and your mileage on the oil interval is low.

Thank you. What does copper signify? a concern? i noticed AL was low and thought that was a good sign of the engine not consuming itself.
And not a fan of Castrol anymore. They do not release their zinc numbers; usually means its going to be lower. Another source had castrols v-twin at 1000 zinc ppm. I got a deal on this castrol 20/50 only to find this out later. so i added some "break-in oil" which is loaded with the stuff. I'm pretty sure i mixed up a cocktail of about 1800ppm of zinc in the end.
