I had the opportunity to drive this beast the morning you dropped it off with the new owner. He dropped by my work on his way back to Vancouver. What an awesome car! The new owner is a great guy and a true enthusiast. It is in very good hands!

I remember that morning well although it was a bit of a whirlwind trip. Good to hear you had a crack at driving her before she went to her new home. I'm really pleased to hear the car is being enjoyed and in good hands
After the deal was done I knew the timing was right.Here's one more pic a buddy captured the night before the sale.

Well after 5 years and lots of good memories with this vehicle I finally sold her. Thought I'd post up a couple of pics for posterity.
Many thanks to the forum members in this section for all the shared information and experiences. I learned a ton before purchasing this vehicle from those that had theirs before I did (ie Kevin and Steve). They were instrumental in helping me make a decision I never regretted a single day after the purchase.
I really appreciate the PO for the easy transaction back in 2012 and the current new owner who made the sale just as smooth.
Now to remember how I change my signature !!

i loved the accelleration,
but
REALLY LOVED THE BRAKES.
It was the best sounding turbo car I'd ever heard.
Would have been mine if pretty much any color other than black.
Glad you had fun.

As I've mentioned before your guards red beauty was the inspiration that started the 3 year hunt to find mine. The car never disappointed.
For now I'm content driving my '07 R Turbo. At least for a couple more years. It's a terrific package and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. After that who knows....

Hey many thanks Chris ! I appreciate the kind words.
I'll keep you in mind regarding the R Turbo. I have a handshake agreement with the PO that I will give him first right of refusal if I decide to sell but it never hurts to have options after that !

I don't blame him at all. My brother had his 07 converted at the same time as yours at ruf USA, they only officially converted about 30 cars worldwide. I actually had my original 07 all set to be transported down for the conversion when my wife blew a fuse.....

I actually just sold both the silver and black sets last week. There's still a for sale post in the Rennlist classifieds with pics until the sale on the black set is final.
