Default FIXED

FIXED

but i screwed up b/c idk what it was.

i addressed both likely culprits at the same time (battery and fuel filter). should have been more empirical

but what screwed me up was initially the battery would not hold a charge. 11.8 before and after charging. But this time i used a different battery charger and the battery held a good charge.....so i had a bad battery charger?? jeez it wasn't even a cheapo harbor freight it was a craftsman charger....strange.

anyway this is maybe why life sometimes sucks for mechanics? who woulda thunk it would be a bad battery charger what are odds?

so result are either a low battery from sitting or a 21 y/o fuel filter. but idk which. but i think like Mike said it shoulda still cranked at 11.8v not like i'm turning over my 5.8L blown Shelby.

fuel filter was black btw. i dried it out then cut it open. yikes black idk how anything got through there!

and on a side note....a pure no smoke oil change using mahle big filter and porsche brand lil filter. so big guy definitely ok not being Porsche brand/logical.

thanks all
