430 HP Option with K16 - sufficient Airflow at hi Revs?
Just thought about this:
Porsche does increase the pressure from 0.8 to 0.9 for the 430 HP option.
We have seen quite many dyno charts where the power drops in the higher revs. This is because of the k16s not delivering enough airflow, isnt it?
So where is the logic behind the 430HP option with the stock turbos? Does it really provide more power in the higher revs?
What would be the result of K24 or K16/24 with the 430HP ecu? Any theories or experiences out there?
It is just plain theoretization but i hope to gain some understanding of our cars
TIA,
Stefan

Although, I did change the FPR at the same time and put the muffler bypass pipes on also. Never got a dyno because AWD dynos are scarce around Ontario.

Thanks for the compliments. Alas, it has been sold and is with a new owner. It will be dearly missed. I received a generous offer for it so I let it go.
I am on the prowl for another 993 TT (preferrably Polar Silver/Black) and will start the journey once again.
Take care
