exhaust suggestions
Any suggestion on exhaust systems for the TT? I have heard improvement is very limited by changing the exhaust/cat on the TT. Is this true?
Checked the FABSPEED website, but they don't offer anything for the TT other than bypass pipes, why is that???

You can get good gains with a cat bypass (may or may not be legal in Taiwan), and some gains with a muffler bypass. Changing mufflers or using race cats seems to give little benefit (except to the sound).

Fabspeed does have mufflers for the TT. It is the very first picture shown when clicking on 993TT. The part # is 993TTcatback $1095.

Hey John,
I have ordered the FVD CAT bypass from FVD through their website. But Have not heard from them.
How much you want for your Strosek Muffler? How does it sound?
I'll go to Dong Jin to check them out!

I'll sure "second" what GHL said,......
993 TT mufflers should be installed for sound enhancement, not in the quest for more power. One can criticize Porsche for making these cars too quiet for some folks, but NOT for installing a restrictive muffler system.
Cat bypass pipes (illegal in some places) will significantly reduce throttle lag though; something that really helps K-24 equipped cars.
