New Le mans based movie: Michel Vaillant
I'd appreciate it if we could hear from our European brothers about this one... Is it gonna suck (days of thunder) or rock (Le mans by steve mcQueen) ?
My bet is somewhere in the middle... For those who never heard of it, Michel Vaillant is a pretty famous comic book character (race car driver) - and it's been made into a movie this year using 2 camera cars at the real 24h of Le Mans ! The good guy drives a Lola, the bad guy I think a Panoz (fantastic "bad guy" car with attitude). The footage they got is supposedly really good. The movie, who knows... I am not even sure it'll come out in the States, anybody knows ?

You know what's funny? I've heard about this movie, but I always thought it was Michael Valiante, the Formula Atlantic driver! I couldn't figure out why they would make a film about him at the point in his career (which is a good one, btw, but he's not at the top level, yet). So, thanks for the clarification.
