Default What a great car...

I recently purchased this 97' 993 C2S Glacier white with factory Aero Kit. I bought it sight unseen, but had a very thorough PPI done. The car in that state was rated at a strong 7. I spent approx 8k (which included new tires) to make the car a 9. I am so very happy with this car and I am not normally a white car fan, but this one has such a classy look. Still trying to figure out how many of these glacier white ones there are, but my mechanic Joe Leggs in Oceanside said in his 20 plus years of working on these cars he had never seen a car like this one. The seller on RL I think gave as accurate representation as he could. The car was in good shape, but needed a lot of little things. I can be a little OCD so I just wanted them handled. I still have a few other odds and ends to complete, but the car is just a great car and drives as solid as it did new. Enjoying the sound when I hop on the freeway and hear that air cooled motor start to wind up.... Enjoying this little unicorn now. I am very blessed. I will enjoy learning more on the 993 threads about these great cars. Have a great day all!

I've never seen a factory Aero kit 993. Really looks stunning, really.

I'm nuts about details too. I had my car restored, when I got it back, it's been a year and a half now and 15k I've spent after the restoration making it perfect in every way. may car was rough...No one is as detailed or cares as much as the owner. I found all kinds of little things to make it a 10.

Take your time and enjoy the time you spend on research and making it perfect..after that you get board..or I do Not when I drive it

One of the "must" upgrades I did was the Porsche Classic Radio. Allows you to play screaming blue tooth from your phone. When you sell it just put the stock radio back in and sell that unit Oh and the Rennline Cell Phone holder.

Good luck and enjoy!!

Default new car

Good choice.

Are you in Oceanside or Portland, or both?

Congrats! I bought my Aventurine Green 96 last year and I am slowly trying to make it a 10 but at the same time driving it and enjoying it. Have a good summer with it!

Default Gave it a bath and took a few interior pics...

Well, after a week of ownership and countless compliments I am tickled to have found this car. It is just a great car, plain and simple. Still some small things to do to make it right, but she is great. Gave the car a good bath today and it was nice to look over it with a closer eye. All in all I am very pleased with the condition and it drives fantastic! Took a few interior pics today at the request of some folks and a few pics in an empty parking lot after it being clean and filled up with some fresh petrol. Looking forward to getting out and about in the Pacific NW! @FSA, it was great chatting with you and look forward to meeting up and checking out your car too! The factory aero kit just makes this car sit so nice...
