AFAIK, he has not posted a price yet, but I could be wrong. Im just another person who didnt pull the trigger when the Porsche part was available and have been regretting it. I'm keeping my eyes open on yours and Ninemeister's posts. Thanks for the info, Spyrex

While I welcome the new BBI uprights I doubt they will solve your pad knock back problem. My money is on the hub flange flexing not the upright.

^^^ If that is the case then guess what is next on the fab list!
These models are being delivered this week for test fitment - they should be final. LOT of development work has gone into these. Once they are ready I'll let BBI explain the design and differences.

Hello All,
Thank you everyone for all the patience for our highly anticipated BBi StreetCup Billet Uprights. We have been working hard on the development of this product for the last 3 month, with over 200 hours of design time, 38 hours of on car measuring and adjusting, 5 revisions and 4 prototypes.
Priced at $2995.00, they we are now in production and we are taking deposits of $2000.00 now with the remaining balance due at time of shipping. The initial run lot will be 10 car sets for the first batch. We are projecting to sell over 50 car sets, but you all will determine that for us. I know that all of you will be extremely pleased with the construction, quality and design of this part, and here are a few key features below.
1. It is fully 5 axis machined from billet 6061 aluminum as opposed to being casted
2. The geometry of the upright is revised to lower the lower pick up points of the control arm and the steering tie-rod (more on this later)
3. The damper mount is lowered relative to the bearing center-line by 25mm. This is necessary as to how low many of us like to run the cars. This was done to resolve the problem of the cars were running out of stroke and riding on the bump stops on all of the popular aftermarket dampers.
4. 100% designed and manufactured here in Southern California.
If interested, please email me at betim@bbiautosport.com to secure your set. We already have 4 car sets sold as of now and expect to have the first run out of the machines and off to coating in 6 weeks (2nd week in October). Again, thank you for all the support and patience!

Don't complain about the price. It's always what...
...a willing buyer and a willing seller agree to. I have a set of RS uprights on my 993 with the ERP tie toes. I have been offered $4,000 for the uprights...the ERP tie rods are another $500. I turned it down.
People are willing to pay big money for the uprights? Do you need them? If your car is slammed you'll appreciate them if you are pushing he car to 10/10ths.
If it's coming out of BBI, it will be done right. And don't forget the matching tie rods, factory (NLA) or ERP, or? Don't know whom else makes the tie rods.

Well done BBI. I envision these working well with the really low cars. The OEM RS units will now be better suited for middle ground.
I am curious about the decision to lower shock mounts. Most of the dedicated track guys use shortened shocks already. Won't these render the short body shocks obsolete? I can understand wanting to make em work with PSS10's etc but given the geometry changes these seem to be more targeted toward track guys.

The rs is an improvement over stock. These are even more so at any ride height at row or lower. So it's not just guys who slam their cars.

Just ordered a set of these for my 993, and can't wait! The car has been on the lift since last winter awaiting a suspension rebuild. Thanks to Jerry and everyone at BBI for all the R&D that went into this.
