Motorcycle cycle oils still carry decent amount of additives like ZDDP. V-Twins are also also cooled.

Motorcycle engines be air cooled. N'ah just kidding.

The current formulation of Mobil 1 brand V-twin 20w-50 synthetic oil has a ZDDP (zinc) ppm (1750) level which is close to the early '90's Mobil 1 automotive 15w-50 formula used by Porsche AG as the factory 993 fill.

The present day widely (retail) available Mobil 1 brand automotive 15w-50 synthetic oil formula has a reduced value of ZDDP, its closer to 1250 ppm. Some say an insufficient ZDDP ppm spec. compared to the early '90's Mobil 1 oil ... when our air cooled 3.6l engines roamed the earth . . .

Mobil 1 15W-50 is also on sale at O Reilly's. Like many here I mix V-Twin and 15W-50 (50/50). O Reilly's has it on sale $4.00 off regular price, I saved $32.00 off my regular oil change.
