If given a color choice, I would've chosen white or yellow. White is a good car color for all the right practical reasons (heat/light reflection, visibility).

GP White with Chestnut leather (actually deep red) has long been a favorite of mine.

Man, I feel just the opposite; I love seeing white 964s and 911 3.2 Carreras. Always liked the white 3.2 Club Sports. White 993s, not as much, but I certainly don't dislike them like I do the baby-poo brown SCs.

It is an interesting question. I definitely didn't like the idea of a white Porsche (or any sports car) years back, but I do think it is one of the best colors on a 993 now - especially Glacier. True about the old vintage colors coming back strong in the early cars - after people hated them for years and painted over them with red, black or silver. Here is my Glacier

I think white gives you the opportunity to enjoy any interior color and still look great.

I love my midnight blue/grand prix white combo!

color is a form of fashion.

fashion is cyclical.

i used to not like white porsches but now i do; perhaps in 10 years it will fade again.
(i'm embarrassed to think of all the questionable, transitory fashion choices i've made.)

i'm a big fan of white cars in general and think it looks great on 993s. i had a '78 928 in white/black and loved how it showed that early, simple body (euro - no side moulding, no spoiler, no chin spoiler). oddly, without looking for it, my last 8 cars/6 current are all black.

White cars are taking over.
Not just Porsches. It is very obvious in Europe. White as a base color is choice for many people who don't want to spend extra $$$ for metallic paint.

Aren't white 993s super cool?! Are white 993s more attractive now than 10-15 years ago? I remember rejecting white 993s when I bought my first 993 but now I find them super cool!

Now it's one of my favourite colours for 993s! Is it just me or have You and the market also changed Your mind about white 993s?
white 993s can look great, 'specially with aerokit II and grey interior.
maybe even a blue interior over a black one.

cheers

Craig
