Nice. Sure it's fairly easy, but an absolute mess to do.

Looks amazing, well done. For 500 to 1000 I would do that in a heartbeat for my car. I used to think that was kind of nuts to clean a car like that, and for a daily/disposable, I still think it is, but for a 20 yo car that rarely sees weather that you are hoping to make it another 20, I think its money well spent. Did they put any protectant on it afterwards? I seem to remember 9m having an undercarriage detail service and they offered a clear protectant.

Super nice. I have recently read about dry ice cleaning, I might get that done...

Darren is the first stop for any car I buy. I would think the higher price is for removing the plastic guards /inner fender liners, etc.

This service is between $200-350 for most other cars, and this includes inner fenders, and engine bay.

Now that I see yours, I need to take my C2S to him.

Cheers,
RD

Looks awesome! Wish I wasn't so far from Costa Mesa. And it looks like it's time to refinish your brake calipers, also!

don't believe there is any additional protectant, however i'm curious.

yep, mine was the "full monty" undercarriage restoration. when detailing and/or paint correction can cost significantly more i thought this was a reasonable value.
