'Porsches in MonkeyBoy's avatar??? Oh yea, now I see. I've looked at it at least a hundred times and never noticed until you guys pointed it out. Go figure.

What city is Car #2 in? You may find a Rennlister who can give it a first look and drive for you. I'd also try talk to the General Manager of the closest Porsche dealer to where the car is to arrange for the PPI. That PPI may cost a few hundred dollars; but, do it before you fly out there.
Good luck!! Mark
p.s. I agree that you win for the best Avatars
p.p.s You'll like the 993 better - Like Avatar #2, the 993 has suspension and other upgrades to help keep the rear end from breaking free and improve handling...

Car #1 is definitely a better color combination .
But ... I side with everyone that #2 sounded like a better investment. I place a high priority on knowing the history of any Porsche I buy.
(My car: '96 Cab, Metallic Black w/Classic Gray interior)
