Based on all the research and prices the guys have posted I guess I paid too much for mine. Oh well, I still love how they look on my car. And the old saying goes " you only live once but your dead a long long time" cruise on fellas!

You probably got them when the wheels were out of production so I wouldn't spend too much time kicking yourself. New adopters can rejoice.

I paid $3,200 for mine with 1,000 miles. Sold them for $3,500 2 years later, bought them back for $4,000 2 years after that and sold them for $4,000 a year later!

^Mark- I do remember just within the last few years, sets were selling on RL for around 4K and as high as 5k. Excellent time to ****** a set now. BTW, all you need now is a coupe to mount them on

The original 19'' cast version wheel is replaced by the new forged wheel designed for the 997-up. the profile & design are different between the two.

So the 18 inch cast rims are available for a 993 Turbo. Only way to get 19 inch are on the second hand market? Am I correct?

Correct. member 997rs4.0 has a mint set worth buying if u're looking for the original 19'' version.

Since brand new 18's are $3,100...I'd say $2,500 now.

You can buy a brand new set of 18" Rufs for $3300 USA dollars from Ruf , check out the Ruf website ... they are now available .
