Can one convert a tiptronic 993 to a six speed?
I currently have a '95 993 with a Tiptronic - I love the car but really wish I had a 6 speed.
How feasible is it to make this kind of conversion? I've found some reasonable prices on slightly used transmissions but wondering how involved the process is.

The case of the tiptronic motor is different and will not fit a six speed. You are better off trading the car.
My wife always tells me that I should have gotten a tiptronic.
