Default New 993 TT interior advice

I am getting a silver 993 TT with 40K mi, and plan on redoing the interior as the current one is grey and starting to turn a bit green and is quite dated.

My question is: Should I change the interior to black or keep it original?

I like both but this question is in regard to collectability not personal taste. I believe black is more desirable, but I also know keeping it original is important as well.

What do you guys think?

I think you know the answer; you just need validation. Original is always more desirable from a pure collectibility point of view. Easy to refresh. Also can add some color accents like black mats, yellow/red seat belts, etc.

I think you should drive the cars you bought, not collect them.

U7: No I do not know the answer to my question, really. Black is a much more collectible color and think it may offset not being original. As long as it is replace with original interior. This is why I was seeking advice on here. I mean original exterior color I can understand but interior most of the time would take some digging to figure out it was ever changed...

Nile: I drive all my cars quite a bit but this question was in regards to collectability. Those thread often time welcome off topic comments about "I drive my car and don't care about collection" this is just off topic.

Thank you very much for letting me know in your second post here what to do and not do on a forum I've been contributing to for 13 years. I've deleted all pertinent information.

I have to disagree, Silver over a Red interior is clearly superior.

If you're going to mod it, I'd suggest a red interior. Silver with red is amazing.

thanks

I am thinking about keeping it grey. I like it. I just thought black may increase the value. And if it is best to keep it original I will leave it.
