Canepa has never a cheap dealership.
One thing is clear, they know what they're doing.
These prices mark the trend for the future of low mileage 933 WB...

I was pretty floored. I wanted this car pretty bad but I drive all of my stuff and just could not stomach it. I just bought a Guards Red 39k mile one owner C2 that will scratch my 993 itch for now while I wait for the right C2S. Canepa also has a 26k mile Arctic Silver / Cashmere C2 they are asking $185K for!

I think you might be short of $ 1 million

Haha, yeah I'm thinking 1.5-2 mil for a 959.

For some reason, that mud brick interior really turns me off on that 993. It does look ok with that exterior color but not my taste for the money. Course I'd rather spend another $50K and just get a nice Turbo.

The only 959 I can find without effort, from Switzerland:

Some cash needed...

i have always considered silver on red to be a classic german color combo. for me, the interior is what makes this car more unique. imo, the price is somewhat crazy, but someone will definitely want that color combo.

I agree on a red, just not that weird mud brick colour. If it were really a proper red it would look great.

For me, the interior doesn't work. Neither do other "strong" interior colors. Call me boring, but black is the only interior color I like in a 993.

This is a Turbo, but nowhere on the 993 Turbo thread to post this and don’t think it’s worth creating a dedicated thread for just this car. This 42k-mile Guards Red/Cashmere ‘96 993 Turbo has been for sale for awhile now despite its low price of $200k and it’s desirable specification (factory hardback sport seats and sunroof delete). It’s originally of Japanese origin and they advertise original paint. However being a Japanese spec car and seeing the photos it makes me have my doubts about it being totally original paint.

What makes you doubt the original first paint?

That's a really good price. I always thought that sunroof delete ROW spec cars fetched a premium by default. This one's mint!

I looked up some things and proves my original notions are probably wrong. Japanese cars often don’t have the usual stickers in the usual places like US or European cars have (under the hood, door jambs, etc.). Not seeing them at first made me a bit skeptical. Also thought I saw something in the front under the carpet, but compared it to other cars and appears to be fine. I am sometimes skeptical of cars that come out of Japan as often they have some sort of undisclosed story whether it is paintwork, accident damage, or odometer fraud.

Knowing the reputation Japanese have for fastidiousness, I may be more inclined to trust their cars than those from Florida
