PPI Tucson
#3
I picked up my 993 in Tucson in 2013 and had a hard time finding a place to do a PPI, I had heard at the time not to go to Redline. I ended up taking it to the dealer (I loathe dealers!). They wouldn't do a leakdown and generally just did a very basic PPI. I also had the car checked over by a local body shop for prior accident history (clean bill of health) but I don't remember who that was.
I looked over the car pretty thoroughly having owned two 911s previously, drove it home, and didn't have any surprises after I bought the car.
Good luck!!

Hard to believe a seller is going to take the car a 100 miles for a PPI.
I agree wth sky, a dealer usually does a poor job of PPI, especially on older cars.
How well do you know 993's and how much service documentation comes with the car?

Thank you for the reply's. At this point not sure if it's possible
to get a reliable PPI so far away. The seller has an
incredible
history of the car including all of the work done to it. The car has 55k on it with every possible recommended service performed . I may have to take a leap of faith unless anyone wants to volunteer to have a look and report back. Do let me
know. Thanks again.
