^this made me smile. This is exactly how my girlfriend/fiancé was. Then we got married and in time somehow the "understanding" part was totally forgotten.

Just polished up my Fister IIIs with a little Bar Keeps Friend while I had them off doing some other winter maintenance....look like new again. I went with new heat shields, but also ran them with no shields for about 6 mos...no issues.

Love this pic. Fun thread. I don't get over here much any more as the shop has gone crazy the last few years and keeps me slammed most of the time.
Glad to see everyone enjoying their mufflers, in ceramic and without!
This summer I have coerced my son to come back and work with me for good so hopefully it will free me up a little to hang out more.
I miss you guys

Cheers

Heat shields back on and one finished. 30 more minutes until initial launch.

Update: Wow, everything I dreamed and nothing I dreaded! Cruised out of the neighborhood quietly and love the new sound. Not obnoxious, even quiet when you want it to be. It sure does come to life when you get it up over 3500 rpms. The pops a burbles are musical on the downshifts! Thanks Darin!

Not to sound like a suck up..................we are very fortunate to have guys like Darin from FD and John from Fabspeed here on the board to offer help. I've talked to both personally on the phone regarding purchases / installs and the service could not have been better!!!!!!!!!!!!
