hey listers--- just FYI: all so.CAL (maybe more) "goodwill" chapters are giving all donations to CA FIRE victims until the end of december. so if you've got anything to give away (esp. clothes) & you'd like it to benefit some in need, this will directly help those displaced & affected by our wild-fires.

I also understand that any donations to the American Red Cross, if marked "Ca Wildfire Relief," will go directly to those in need. BTW, if not marked accordingly, the donation will go the the RedCross' general coffers.
I heard this on local radio but you may want to check with them just to be sure they're still doing it. And THANKS! (from a SoCal Rennlister who was thankfully spared from the tragedy).
