Lock/unlock-ing mechanisms work, switch works, motor works. I tinkered (:0) with it earlier (hex screws on both rear side panels) 'cos it began to slam down when closing. Now it won't go up or down. If someone has a suggested checklist for me to go over, I would greatly appreciate it.
FYI. How tight should the hex screws be? Tight enough that I can not raise or lower the top manually?
Also, how do I align the top? I noticed earlier (when it was working <sigh> , when starting from the top-down position, that the passenger side started to raise first and it seemed to hit the windshield frame earlier than driver side?
Any and all hints, short of "take it to a service center" would be greatly appreciated.
