all done, i need to hand it to ilko for pushing me over the edge to switch down and john for swapping mufflers with me. got everything back together, the volume and overall tone of the exhaust seems the same as it was previously with fister II's.
moving the car around the garage without cats or mufflers on it was very entertaining, it sounded (and smelled) like a nascar or a donzi.
also finished RS heat bypass, and bumperette delete.
shiny things...

Hello everyone.
I am new to Rennlist. and this is my first attempt at participating :-)
I am about to finalize the purchase of this vehicle. My question, is the underneath pipes meant to be visible? if so, what type of fabspeed exhausts are they?
are they loud?
thank you

That all being said, the sound from that car is pretty aggressive. Similar to what people experience running our catbypass x-pipe and Fister II mufflers. Although sound is quite subjective, if you don't want it to be overly loud I would at least install a set of our current sport cat x-pipes. They should bolt right up to those mufflers already on the car.

Would love to hear and see a video of how it sounds. I ordered and received the SCXP combo in January, but my car is still in storage and haven't had an opportunity to install them to my stock mufflers.

Today we installed the second set of fabspeed scxp, this one had standard stock mufflers. the car really came out sounding fantastic! The sound changed significantly, without going crazy. More subdued than stage I + scxp but still sounded like an awesome machine. little bit of a deeper tone to it.
I got to test drive my car today as well and it was a blast. windows up, cabin noise seemed the same, no droning, plenty quiet to hold a conversation. Anecdotally, it did feel like the RPMs wound up more freely and it sounded great.
This was the 3rd sport cat cross pipe ive installed in about 3 years on 3 different 993s... im always impressed with the workmanship of this product, particularly the fasteners and hardware they include are top notch.
