I was chatting with a buddy about our cars and some issues came up wether a C2S has the same chassis, suspension, brakes, etc as a TT. Can anyone shed some light on this.

C2S doesn't have TT's chassis or suspension. and most certainly it doesn't have TT's big reds.

C4S however, has many suspension pieces, if not all, shared with TT.

 

Carrera S shares chassis and brakes with Carrera. Big Red brakes were not available on the Carrera S. The sport chassis, otherwise standard on Turbo, was an option on the Carrera S. As to the Carrera 4S, it only came with the Turbo's Big Red brakes but also had the standard Carrera chassis as with the Carrera S.

So then, if the m030 option was selected, did that set the c2s up with similiar suspension and chassis as the tt?

Suspension calibration, yes. With slight differences in anti-roll bar sizes. But, the brakes were still different.
