Desi is still in the shop after some 6 weeks or more. Two rebuilds local for rack. Now coming back from Porsche in UK. They sent rack with bad o rings but it worked. So the wait goes on but damm...this is the longest time I have not driven the car in 22 years. I miss her bad! So back to work and wait for some good news.
After many years of this issue and no solving...we dropped the motor and changed all lines coming and going to rack. Did not fix but under inspection o rings in rack had exploded . On a good note..after all these years. 22 plus ( I have had her).she has not a drop of rust under her carriage . Plus it was fun to see her unpeeled ..just not the bill to come!
