One rear sub woofer enclosure
I just found out that Tech-Law's group buy on the rear speaker enclosures actually went forward and they are making them as I type. So, if you were thinking of it, you should get going because the group buy price is definitely discounted.
I am no audiophile and was just looking for a little more lower end/bass and wanted to do it economically. I was going to get the sub woofer enclosure on one side only - I'm ususally the only one in the car, bass is somewhat non-directional anyway and I have other things to buy. Unfortunately, they are building the enclosures in pairs and one is not half price. Anyone of like mind want the other one?
PM me for the prices.

That's a good idea to only buy one. I put a Kenwood WooX powered subwoofer in the rear footwell of my '86 and it was a huge improvement. Speaking of which, I need to sell that (I sold the car) so if anyone's interested, PM me. It was used less than 10 months/3000 miles.

My mistake- they have made the molds, but are not making the enclosures yet because no one has ordered them. The group buy price is - (can I post this? I guess Viken will straighten me out if not) $900 for two enclosures with a minumum order of 5 sets. I'm interested in splitting a set with someone. Keep in mind that each enclosure will include a JL 8" sub. To answer a question that was posed last time: this is custom work, anything is possible, but as Don the fabricator said - a deviation from the group buy will be more expensive.

Bass is non-directional assuming you are not crossing over 40Hz. Above that, you will likely hear the sound coming from ther rear. Pairs may look better aesthetically and since they are 8", bass will be tighter but two will move more air and I think lend greater presense. But then again I am a front sound stage only guy so I wouldn't really want any driver coming from behind me anyway.
