Hey Guys,
I really appreciate all the wonderful advice. My ever-resourceful wife did some sleuthing today, and Phil Anderson at Suncoast Porsche reports that the computer shows 5 available factory units in chestnut brown. As Emilios suggested, the part number has apparently changed from a 993 to a 996 prefix, which may explain why Gert's sources showed it as being discontinued.
I'm a happy camper! Mick, I spoke with Alan Gun (AGLA) about a year ago about covering my DAS roll bar in chestnut brown leather, and I agree with you that they seemed capable of doing just about any custom leather job. Fortunately, it sounds like we may have found a simpler solution.
