Serious question because I did not know that these existed from the factory: Why did they install a lower output motor and turbo setup in the cab? Besides the rigidity issues with a cab, seems strange to have another tune/motor setup when only 14 examples were made. Or am I not understanding something?

The 993 turbo engine was not ready when they built these cabs, that's the simple reason they put the 964 engine in the cars.
