Harry,
I noticed you took TTOD at Marina in one event - but i've never seen your 993. I've heard rumors of it but have yet to see it. I think my rule change is done & approved so I'm glad to be dropping into Ni.
So I'm curious about your mods - are you willing to share what you did to your car?
Cheers,
Boris

Congrats on a good showing at the Phoenix Tour:
"James Gunn-Wilkinson 03 Porsche Boxster S Silver Kumho 72.553 (0.009)"
Not too shabby for what I understand was a 'buy a car', 'throw on some tires' and 'drive it to the race' effort! Nine thou..can't get much closer.
Between the Boxster S, Corvette, 2004 Honda S2000, Evo, and Sti, looks like A Stock should be a rock'n class. Looking forward to putting the 993 into the middle of all that action.
Now, if only the snow would melt, it would get warmer, my shocks were ready,...

Hi Boris,
Sent the front Koni Sports and the M030 rears into Koni before Xmas to get the work done as they have quite a long lead time on custom work. Last I heard I'm still in line. Hopefully they'll be starting on them soon..
We're somewhat cold and snowbound, so I'm not too anxious yet.
Hope all is well on your end.

Paul,
Sunny and warm out here. We have an event every weekend all the way through the Pro Solo here in So Cal. Life is good:-)
The Boxster S was a dealer Demo that I bought the Wednesday before the tour. I had been looking for a while and I was happy with the options (PSM), color (Arctic Silver) and price, so I went ahead and got this one.
Thursday night I dismounted the stock tires and put on some full tread Ecsta V70a's on the factory 18's, maxed the front camber and set toe to 1/16" out. I left the rear alone, as I didn't have the energy to string the car.
The new 710's on the Corvettes seemed to work really well on Saturday in the damp/drying conditions, but Sunday brought a deluge for our group and the full tread V70a's worked well. I think the C4's are going to be tough competition as long as there are no 710's available in Porsche sizes. Not sure about the S04 Hoosiers yet, but the 710's are very fast.
I have M030 springs, shocks, and sway bars on the way along with some CCW wheels.
I think the class will be a blast this year with Scott McHugh and Jason Isley in a C4, Ron Bauer in a Boxster S or S2000 (has both), L&P Kozlak (you), Jason Uyeda in a Boxster S, and the Evos/STIs when it rains.
Looking forward to a fun year in STOCK:-)
