I won a Porsche Classic Radio!
Wow - I recently found out I won a Porsche Classic Radio (including installation) in a raffle at our local dealer! It's not the sort of thing I would have bought, but I'll certainly put it in my car now.
There is currently no radio or rear speakers in the car (an old installation was taken out), so it will be nice to have some tunes. I'm planning to add new HiFi rear speakers from Gert to round out the package.
There are a number of other threads reviewing the PCR, but I'll post some pics and opinions once the install is complete if anyone is interested.

Thanks! I actually emailed Vu yesterday to ask a few questions based on what I saw on the video and he answered me immediately! Membership has it's privileges...

Enjoy your new system.
When the Cayman was introduced many years ago, at what was then called Maplewood Porsche (one of two Porsche dealers in the Twin Cities metro area), I won a raffle for a Bose wave radio.
Like you, not something I would have purchased myself.
Nice that the dealerships do stuff like this.

Greetings- May I hijack this happy thread? My 1996 Targa has the stock radio (with door and rear deck speakers) and I would prefer to keep it. However, I would like to add BT hands free calling, and audio streaming to the car. Devices such as this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0168GBMCY...I2CH81HTE3MDXB
require a 3.5 mm aux connector to get audio into the speaker system, but the Porsche radio lacks this. Are there proven hacks to discreetly connect an external BT device to this venerable (not obsolete) radio? Thanks very much!

Probably can't get more proven than having the people that built your radio add an aux jack.
