Default Need help in reinstalling original rear spoiler 993

Hi Everyone! Greetings from Indonesia. I've been roaming around this forum as a bystander and now decided to join to ask questions around.

I have a problem with my 1994 993 Carrera. It previously had a RS decklid and now i am reinstalling the original rear spoiler. However, I found a difficulty in connecting the electrics of the rear spoiler. The only thing I found is a male plug from the rear spoiler (attached), but nowhere to connect with a female plug from the car. So, how do I do it?

Thanks and much appreciated!

The other harness should be attached to the right side lid hinge. Shine a flash light in the oil dipstick handle area and you'll find it (hinge- top center in photo above)

Thanks Pdaddy and TMc993 for the replies! I was hoping to find that as well. Instead, I found nothing...

That's weird. My current 993 came with the Aerokit package from the factory and I installed a pop up tail for a while. The wiring is all there. Do you have a large connector under the glove box for the spoiler controller?

And do me a favor, check the other side of the engine compartment, maybe the plug is there? Being you're in Indonesia if your car is RHD the wiring might be flipped??

If a Factory Aero Kit the Female Connector is omitted as well as the Spoiler button on the lower Console near the gear shifter.

If installed at the Porsche Dealer ...this was "after the fact" and not factory and why it was present. See pics below taken from a C4S with a "Factory Aero Kit Option" per spec sheet from Germany. You will see on the console the sunroof switch is the only one present other two where spoiler switch would be is a "blank." In the engine bay over near the oil dipstick no female connector is present.

Those blank switches are just begging to be replaced with a garage door remote and ejection seat switches.

FWIW, my zenith C2S came from the factory with the aero kit II. I have no spoiler button but the female harness, while hidden away, is there. Not sure if I have a spoiler controller. I have a split grill at the paint shop right now, so I'm relieved to know that the harness is there.

Hazzelth007 take a closer look to the right of the hinge where there's a shadow in your photo and feel around. You may also find the harness hidden up there like I did.

Yep, my '96 Carrera came with the Aerokit package from the factory, part of the Exclusive program. The wiring is present, the button in the center console and controller under the dash are not. I installed them along with the motorized tail and everything worked fine.

Left side with a male plug, no female
The whole bay. Spoiler may be LHD's
No hidden harness on right side either
Button
Dear every kind soul whose trying to help me with this,

First of all, thanks for the replies! After reading all of your messages, here is relevant informations i can provide:
1. My car has a switch button for spoilers (attached)
2. I may have a LHD rear spoiler judging from the position of the air intake panel on the spoiler (attahed)
3. I found nothing on the left side of the bay either (attached). No female plug, just another male plug that idk the purpose of (attached).

Help me . Can't sleep because of this.
