Default Stone Guard vs. ClearBra

I am looking for feedback regarding Stone Guard vs ClearBra; specifically
rock chip resistance, long term performance, durability and cost.

Thanks

Are these brand names? All of the clear stick on plastic shielding in made by 3M, regardless of the brand. I prefer the thinnest durable material they make. I have the Invinca-Shield stuff on my cars and it is almost invisible and does the job of preventing chips.

I think clear bra is just the generic name for the 3M material. Names that come up here are Stone Guard, Invincashield and Xpel. All use the same 3M material but the differences lay in the cut and fit.

I have the full Xpel kit and chose it over the Invincashield because the hood piece went up higher.

Do a search and you'll find more answers.

3M stuff on my 993 and wife's Avalon. The Avalon is driven year around and they sand the roads here in winter. Great stuff.

Thanks to all!

You are correct in that Stone Guard, ClearBra, Invincashield and Xpel are installers for the 3M material.

The real difference seems to be the coverage of the masks, the installation quality, warranty, and cost.

Thanks again!

When I ordered the Invinca-Shiled kit for my 993 I told them exactly how high up I wanted the hood piece and they custom cut it for me (and I don't even think they charged more for this).

Anyone know of an 'Installation' shop for the invincashield. I live in the Los Angeles, CA area.
