Default Deal on Esco Jack Stands

This was mentioned in an old thread about powder coating jack stands, but I thought it might be worth it to post separately about the price.

http://www.coastaltoolsupply.com/product/ESC-10498.html

I ordered 4 of these last week @ $30.54 each. I was a a little skeptical about the web sight & the price. But now that I have them, I can say it's real & a great deal - $131.11 for 4, shipped!

Best deal I've seen. Are those the standard ones? I think the new Shorties are also available now.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was skeptical about that site too when shopping for these last month, and elected to spend a little more to get them from Unique Truck since they had good reviews and a history of group buys on RL, also about $45/ea. I read things about Coastal accepting money for orders and not having the items actually in stock.

They look like great stands for the money.

I have to take off all four of my tires and have them redone, the clear started cracking....jJust had them repainted and they are being done for free....anyway I have 2 sets of jack sands and was looking at the one set for $1,000 that the jack and the stand are at one point. http://www.jackpointjackstands.com/Home_It_Works.html

I only have to lift my car a few inches to take of my wheels, I have two floor jacks so my solution was this...not really to save money but it just made more sense.

I bought 2 of these low profile jacks for $40 each shipped. I'm not going under the car so I don't mind just using the floor jacks. If I need to go under the car in the future I'll use these plus my jack stands.

For that kinda money, maybe you can get the supplier to massage it for you?
; )
JK, pilot...
Back in the day, that was the price point. I remember thinking $250 for jackstands; I think not. Yikes!

Tried to ask Unique Truck to price match, or at least help out somewhat on the pricing; no go. Way to take care of a customer, Unique Truck!
No soup for you!

It's hard to put a price on your safety. Once you've used a set of these stands, you'll understand. $150 or $300 is a drop in the bucket compared to getting squashed, and these are way more confidence inspiring than any cheapo stand I've used in the past. I'd purchase again.

The supplier is saying the stands are backlogged and it's going to be approximately two weeks.
