World's First Carbon Fiber Strut
Attached is a picture of the beginning of the world's first carbon fiber strut (stiffer than steel or titanium and approximately 2/5 the weight of ti) – fresh out of the mold, un-machined and without, for example, the aluminum threads for the spring seat/spring adjuster bonded thereto or the titanium bosses. By the way, in this instance, as to the actual damper, its specifications will include:
1. true four way -- high/lo compression (64 and 40 positions) and hi/lo rebound (24 and 16 positions);
2. blow off piston;
3. outer shaft titanium hard chromed so as to provide good friction surface;
4. inner shafts titanium;
5. titanium adjusters.

Robert, nice to see someone daring to explore uncharted waters. Do you incorporate FEA analysis in your design's?
