Nine9six: I still need to check the clutch microswitch. Can't seem to find any reference to it on the wiring diagrams, can you point me in the right direction?

Okay, so after weeks of troubleshooting, I threw in the towel and shipped the ECU, Immobilizer, Alarm Control Unit and Keyfobs to Specialized ECU Repair in Florida.

....and drum roll please....

they found the immobilizer to be defective; corrosion and bad solder joints inside the immobilizer unit. Five days and $600 later, everything went back into the car and its working fine.

So, sometimes the most obvious answer, "if the immobilizer stops working, maybe its a bad immobilizer", is the right answer. As always your mileage may vary.

Thanks to everyone for your assistance.

Happy motoring.
