0 - 124mph / 0 - 200 kph figures?
I just spent around 3 hours on the web trying to find the 0 - 200 kph figure for the 993. Is there a website with reliable and complete information of this type?
Speaking of reliability, in my travels I have seen 0-60 mph figures of 4.9, 5.2, 5.4, 5.6, and 5.8 seconds, all for the 993 C2 !! It would be great if people quoted the source with the figure...

I have a fairly detailed answer for you re the 0-200kph figure courtesy of French magazine Flat Six -they put most of the cars they try out against the clock and one of the runs they do is 100kph to 200kph. Here are the figures for various incarnations of the 993 (remember the intake temperatures may vary as the tests weren't done on the same day)
993 Carrera 2 (272ps): 14.01s
993 Carrera 4 (272ps): 14.27s
993 Carrera 2 (285ps): 13.59s
993 Carrera 2S (285ps): 12.49s
993 Carrera 4S (285ps): 15.72s
993 Carrera 2S (3.8l 300ps): 12.07s
The fastest 993 they ever clocked 100-200kph was a 993 GT2 by Fresienger with an RS 600PS EVO GT2 engine " 6.3s

It's rather odd that the heavier and less aerodynamic 285 hp Carrera S was quicker than the standard 285 hp Carrera. I guess that just illustrates the car to car and/or day to day variations that can occur.
