Default Is there a way to post a saved sound file within a thread?

I have a sound file saved on my computer that I'd like to post. It's not linked with a website, so I can't go that route. Also, it ends in an .au (audio) and activates Quicktime when it's clicked.

Any suggestions from our computer gurus?

Howdy Mark

Some very few sites allow to upload stuff like that. Probably you'll need a place to host it, there are plenty out there even I can place it on my web-site

The au type is not that common so probably is better if it's converted to something more common like WAV or MP3. CooldEdit is pretty cool not sure if they have a shareware, but GoldWave definitely has a shareware version and you can convert different formats including au

Cheers

Hi, Becker,

Thanks for the tips. John D posted them for me on the Rennlist site.

It was good to see you at Summit. Maybe more next year?
