Default 993 tubi exhaust

Anyone have experience with the Tubi 993 exhaust, either on your car or hearing someone else's? Its pricey. But my experience with Tubi on more modern 911s is that it always sounds really great and the engineering is solid. Just curious if anyone has real world experience? thanks

I helped a friend install the 993 Tubi Style exhaust and about 20 minutes later helped him uninstall it. Loud and obnoxious we both agreed after about 5 minutes. Drone city.

Keep in mind his exhaust was RSR with Fabspeed sport cats, which is perfect in my opinion. Since then he has gone to Fister Stage II.

217 views and 1 reply, thanks Helmet! Just the feedback I needed. The search continues for the perfect exhaust.

My original plan was to just purchase fister. But after leaving one voicemail and two emails asking to purchase with no response weeks later, I find myself considering other options. RSR and fabspeed are on the list. Disappointed to hear about Tubi but it's off the list now. Thanks again.

I've always been a fan of Fister 3 on all my cars. They are not loud at all but after hearing Fister 1 with Fabspeed X pipe especially while reving/accelerating, I'm in love!

I highly recommend the Fister 3s coated in ceramic. Great sound.

other than calling directly or sending emails directly, saying that I want to buy an exhaust set up, any other ideas on how to buy a fister? I know the reputation is stellar and I am not throwing tomatoes or complaining. But I am not sure what else to do...

The best is to source your own spare stock exhaust and send to modify. I think I saw a FS thread in the classifieds.

I am not sure how many exhaust Darin has in stock to "buy off the shelf." 993 exhausts are not as plentiful as later gen cars.

I actually have two Bischoff mufflers for sale in the marketplace. I can ship them to Darin to save you a step. I thought that I'd keep them in case I ever wanted to go back... Nope!

I never got an email answered when I asked about getting mufflers with no core exchange. I always got emails and calls answered when I bought parts from FDM.

Fister 2-3 is everyone's choice but shipping/turn around is too much for me, so I made a turn down for the passenger side muffler. Sounds awesome, $10.

I'll try to call again.
Business must be very good. Glad for them.
But just want to give my money and buy.
Or pursue different exhaust options.
