Hey guys,
Due to my work schedule my car sits sometimes for 2/3 weeks without starting. Do you suggest the same procedure as if it was stored for the winter., ie; remove the DME and build oil pressure?
Thanks in Advance
Jack

I'll volunteer to be today's pedant.
Undoing and reinstalling the DME RELAY to allow oil pressure to build up at start-up is a good practice between longer periods of non-use. I don't think you want to be removing the actual DME.

All that plugging and unplugging will stress the solder joints on the relay leading to premature failure
Carry a spare if you do this or wire a disable switch to the spare in the center console
Search DME bypass
