Wink

Nope; 993 my only Porsche. Got the Audi A4 Avant equipped with Sport suspension and Sport seats so I could still have fun on a daily commute or weekend errands.

A good holiday thread...

Have two:

Her royal highness, the Garage Queen ('97 Polar Silver/Blue Cab),

and her garagemate, the Funhawg ('97 Black Coupe)

Used to have a third, a '99 Boxster, for the wife, but sold it as it wasn't getting driven much.

Currently looking for a new third, a 951 racer.

For the winter, I've been sharing my wife's 530i sport. Will probably acquire an SUV tow (see above) vehicle soon.

enjoy the leftovers everyone

Mike

Current P-cars:

'88 928 S4 - Muscle car
'96 993 C2 - Track car (RSR "clone")
'01 Boxster - Summer canyon blaster

Daily Drivers:

'02 GMC Sierra Denali - Track car tow vehicle
'03 Subaru WRX Wagon - Winter car/grocery getter

Previous P-cars:

'96 993 C4S

My favorite really depends on the situation. As an all-rounder the C4S was great for everything except hauling stuff or transporting more than two people. The WRX is probably the most versatile of all, being fun to drive while providing room for four adults plus cargo.

'95 993 Coupe -- Sort of daily driven, but I avoid bad parking lots (and valet parking), most rain, and all salt -- see Saab, below. Also use for track days, concours, and long trips.

'81 911SC Coupe -- My first Porsche. Semi-garage queen, all original (including paint) and virtually flawless. Bought in '94 with 39,000 miles, now has 67K. Weekends, occasional long trips. Trying to find the right balance between using it (otherwise it defeats the purpose) and keeping the mileage low -- it really is like a new '81 911, and I want to keep it that way.

1983 Saab 900 Turbo -- My other daily driver. This was my first car. Had it from new, and I've driven it 263,000 miles. It still runs beautifully, uses no oil, and still has its original clutch! No, I don't understand it either. The turbocharger is original, also. It has begun to rust, sadly, after 19 salty winters. Next year I'll put it away until I have a lot of extra $$$$ to restore it.

1971 Morgan Plus 8 -- Just about the most fun one can have on four wheels.

1956 Jaguar XK140MC Roadster -- Sadly for sale. I own this car with my two sisters, they want to sell and I can't afford to buy them out
