Default Memorial Weekend plans with your 993?

Are you wrenching? Driving? or BBQing?

Me, I'm planning on wrenching. Going to tackle new lower valve cover gaskets and finally install my Walrod gauge rings! Probably do a wash and wax also.

Oh yeah, don't forget the 100th running of Indy and the Monaco GP is on TV!

I'll be doing some minor wrenching if I have some free time this weekend. Modifying, painting, and installing some front bumperette deletes and brake duct/foglights.

Kayaks out on Monday.

Staying out of harms way and off the streets with the 993...To many BBQed drunk crazies running around.

Otherwise I'd rather be driving Ed's ^^^ route! ☺

Visiting an old geezer and his 993.
Afterwards, it's pool and BBQ.

All of my cars will be staying in the garage - spending some quality time with my GF & friends on the water....

That's great! How old is he?

I took my 6 year-old son to his first race, the SCCA Nationals at Road Atlanta, in 1975. I hope you guys have as great a time as we did almost 41 years ago!

Hey Terry,

He's 6 too! Braved 90º heat and humidity today and had an awesome time. We left at 8AM and didn't come home until after 8PM. He loved just about every second of it. Except the part when according to him his sandals were about to catch fire by the heat emanating from the asphalt in the paddock... Had to literally pour water on his feet and then he was OK!

^ that's awesome. I have such great memories of LRP. It was a family tradition for us to camp out there with the kids during the ALMS race and Rolex. Great fun that our kids really enjoyed. We even took the family suburban out during one of the 'take a lap' events during ALMS. Hilarious to cruse around in a suburban loaded with the family while everyone else had their sports cars on the track.
