From the lap times you posted it looks like they run about the same as a C stock 993. That is pretty impressive I must say considering that full RSR's will run in the high 1.40's. Pretty cool
Nice description BTW, I felt like I was strapping in myself this morning, nahhh I know its a dream I'll never fit in there

Maybe equivalent lap times, but the impressive thing is to realize their corner speeds must be HIGHER than the C-stock 993 -- since there's not a lot of accelerating going on in the straightaways. But since there's essentially no body roll, and it's such a go-kart, I didn't think the corner speeds were much of a pucker factor.

Now, the new Sports Racer class, with 40% less weight (900 pounds!!) and 40% more horsepower, THAT would be some serious puckering!

The SRF did look quite fun -- I got to sit in the cockpit, blip the throttle and dream.

Ben,
I'll see you @ MSR. I'm going to instruct & try to squeeze in a few sessions in the Supercup for grins. It will be the last outing 'til Fall. Texas Summers Suck! Anybody else going?

Hey Jay,

I'm set up in Blue Solo but if you have a chance jump in for a ride. I can use all the help I can get.

See you there!
