It seems as if my Driver Mirror somehow became stripped- the Motor itself works but in Y axis the gears seem to be loose.
Would I need to get a new Motor or is there another way to fix it?

I'd start with the katalog as a guide to disassembly, look for worn parts ie gears and figure out what's broken, then order from Sonnen, Pelicam, Sunset etc.

Who knows, when you get in there you might be able to adjust something to get things working right.

I was looking at that

So my motor does work on the mirror its loose in the Y axis motion (The shop that painted my car is saying the little ziptie like hooks that are attached to the mirror motor/ mirror baseplate are stripped. Do they sell those ala carte?
