I looked at them and think they look bad-***. I thought they're too small for my needs, though. Also, with the pano roof, the back headroom is atrocious for someone of my average height (5' 11.5" but long torso).

Looking for a used 2011-2014 Cayenne GTS. Can't afford (nor do I really want) a TT.

Wife bought a '15 Macan Turbo w/o any prompting from me...Black w/red&black interior. Our first PDK...It's awesome! Chrono pkg. gives you Sport and Sport Plus. Excellent visibility. Handling is superb. Fit and finish is top-notch. Don't buy it for a tow vehicle, tho. Trunk is cavernous and back seats fold down, too. One bad-a$$ vehicle!

Yep. Got an S last summer. Love it - great DD and stable mate for a 993 or Spyder. May jump into a GTS. Will post pics later.

Update: Drove my custom ordered Night Blue over Black GTS alcantara - leather interior package GTS last night. Sooooo nice, tighter, more skootch, faster PDK shifting etc... than the S and love how she sits so low down. Perfect. I'll probably pick it up Saturday. Ill keep you posted.

Wife is interested. I like what they've done. Then she gets the dealer treatment, and understands my Porsche dealer attitude.......

Good thing, as then we're not eating $10K/yr. + in depreciation for something that's nothing more than a BART car that gets driven 8 miles a day.

I picked up a Macan S in Sept 2014 and have 28k miles on it now, and I love it. It is comfortable, quiet, corners and handles really well (obviously not a 911, but does extremely well for a SUV). I don't like big SUVs, but love this car. 18 way adaptive sport seats are wonderful. My tires are still decent at 28k (19" Michelin all season). I had sold my 06 997 C2S cab and found I missed having a 911 toy, so picked up the 96 C4S a year ago to satisfy that need.
It it had been available 2 years ago, I would have gotten the Macan GTS.

I just bought a '16 Macan S in January. Absolutely love it. Already had it on a 600 mile trip as well. Perfect DD. As someone said, definitely not 911 territory (I had a '12 991 Carrera S), but far superior to the Touareg, Q7 and most recently Q5 I have owned. On a different level.

My wife and I have a 2016 S. We love it. Just got done taking it to Denver and back. Ordered to spec last summer and I believe there are some must have options: AS/PASM, sport seats, nav, pano roof is way cooler than I thought it would be. All in all would buy one again, but would get the turbo.

Don't have one, but glad to see how happy owners are. Would love to add one for family road trips or maybe as a DD

They look nice and apparently drive nice, but too small for family road trip.

Default MT Here

I have a '15 Macan Turbo. Moved into it because I got tired of climbing down into the 911. The MT is a blast to drive and really comfortable. I really don't miss my 911. I probably will pick up another air cooled 911 project. I like working on them and spirited driving. The 911 is not a practical daily driver for me.

Looks like we're all trying to assemble the perfect 'quiver' of cars with something for every type of driving. And I echo Kent (skI2) in saying a well set up Macan must include AS and PASM. I didn't have theses options in my S and it drove quite mushy at times. It is probably the biggest reason I changed up. The new GTS is a beast that hunkers down in Sport and Sport Plus settings. It really comes alive. I also splurged and ordered PTV. Does it make a difference? I have no idea! But it's kinda cool.
