Quite recently we decided to try and make them even closer to factory OEM, so ours are also now a dual skin inside from tip to outlet. We also started having the inside ceramic coated black in order to provide a smoother/quality finish right from the start without having to build up carbon deposit haha.

Trying the best we can to be a factory replica without the factory Porsche tax [/QUOTE]

Any pics? My mechanic who is a Fabspeed Dealer is going to be installing these on my car in the next few weeks. I haven't seen them yet.

My Mechanic George Riggin Specialty Automotive in Zelienople PA put the order in for mine and apparently you guys have to fabricate me a set "Polished Wide Ovals" and will take a few weeks from what he told me.

Great to see you've got a set on order Gbos1! You are going to be thrilled when they are complete. I truly appreciate your patience; in order to deliver the quality product that we are known for, your tips will undergo a one-of-a-kind fabrication process that is completed by hand from start to finish. We are just as passionate about Porsche as you are, and we truly appreciate your business. Can't wait to see your car with the tips installed! Be sure to post a photo. What finish did you go with?

Thanks Guys although I think others feel it's a HR nightmare. Anyways here are some pics of my Fabspeed Tips. Also my left side Tip seems to stick out more than the right. Can this be adjusted? I am "Shocked" that they are not engraved on top to say Fabspeed and are not marked ? ? ? Reason?

It's common that 993 tips sit at slightly different depths - but I'm surprised that this isn't accounted for in the design process. Seems like it would be a great opportunity to give 993 owners the symmetry that they're craving

And kudos to Fabspeed for NOT putting logos all over the tips. This has made these tips the natural alternative to OEM wide-ovals. I'm a happy customer!

Thanks didn't know that was the case. Yes I agree thanks for NOT putting the Fabspeed Logo on the tips! They are made high quality and look like a Million Bucks! Great job guys!!!

Thank you for the praise snowbird! We're happy when you're happy. And regarding the symmetry... we designed our tips such that they would maintain that original Porsche quirk

The stainless oval exhaust tips were a separate Porsche accessory, not part of the motorsound package. The factory Motorsound package came with the polished square dual wall tip.

As far as I know, the factory Motorsound option began in 1996, not 1995.

The factory motorsound package, option code 159, consisted of the drilled air box cover, mufflers and tips. The dealer installed Motorsound package consisted of the drilled airbox cover and the exhaust tops, but no motorsound mufflers. At one time, there was a "kit" part number for the dealer installed package.
