Default No Pressure

OK, this just started happening yesterday. I get in the car and push the clutch pedal in... it's very heavy. I start the car and as pressure builds, it of course goes back to normal. The light stayed on for aprox 15 - 20 seconds.

On an Audi I know that the "bomb" would be the issue but I am not familiar enough with this system yet to determine the problem.

Thanks,
Pete

This is very common. Almost every Turbo does the exact same thing. And guess what? When that light is on you also have almost zero brakes until the pressure builds....

Default pressure

Is there an accumulator in the clutch master cylinder circuit? That may need the time to recharge.

Is just started. Is it not an issue?

Pete,

Every Turbo that I know of does this. It takes some time for the pressure accumulator to "pump up" to the proper pressure. Turbo systems are totally different than the our NA brothers. Our cars have power steering, power brakes, and a power clutch assist.
