Default Mechanic in Miami

My boss has a 996 and currently is being skinned by the local "stealer", "The Collection" in Miami. He has a 1999 996 and now out of warranty he wants to move to a more reasonable mechanic, someone he can trust and at the same time not skin him for all his worth...

So I did a search and one of the names that poped up is Scott Finlay in South Miami. Would you guys agree on this or have another recommendation???

Please be kind on me... he IS my Boss....

Although I haven't used Scott personally, I can tell you that he enjoys a good reputation with the local PCA region.

I live a bit North of Ft. Lauderdale and take my car to FVD/Gulf Performance in Pompano Beach and have been very pleased with their work!

DJ,

As Terry said, Scott is good.

I would recommend Butch Stokes around Hallandale area (right next to I-95, easy to find). Marty is the guy who always techs my car for track events and he's really nice, honest guy I trust.
Tell him to ask Marty and that Finnish Peter sent him.

FVD-Gulf is also good but it's so god damn far away!
Although if he's been going to Champion, it's almost next to it.

Here's info:

Would you recommend FVD-USA for non-Porsche related work? I have an E46 that will be getting a new suspension (and needs new control arm bushings). I don't have a garage down here and Vista BMW raped me for a grand to install new pads/rotors and new SS lines.

I really miss my garage. FVD-USA is maybe 10 minutes from me in Ft. Lauderdale I believe.
